About

Child Evangelism Fellowship® is an international, Bible-centered organization comprised of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local Church. With a presence in nearly every country on earth and a Christ-ordained burden as believers to reach all children for Christ, CEF’s enduring mission since 1937 is to actively engage the Church in bringing the good news of the gospel to every childevery nationevery day.

Our Vision

Our vision for South-Central Indiana is for volunteers from the local churches to go into the elementary schools sharing the Gospel through an after-school program known as Good News Club®

Sadly, there used to be 14 elementary schools with Good News Club® programs. Now there are only 4.

1 Corinthians 3:10-23 says, “For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.” Jesus is the rock and the only sure foundation.

The Great Commission is for children too!

64% of believers accept Christ by the age of 14 (Barna Research). According to Ministry-to-Children, “Once a person reaches adulthood, accepting Christ becomes increasingly rare. Evangelism is most effective in the childhood and teenage years.” Therefore, childhood is when most people find Jesus.

CEF Partners with Churches

We are training and equipping volunteers from local churches to go and share the Gospel in the public schools.

The Good News Club® after-school program can meet in public schools.
  • It is not against the law to teach God’s Word in public schools. On June 11th, 2001, the United States supreme court decided that Good News Clubs must be granted the same access to school facilities as offered any other nonreligious organization.
  • Does your school have a program? Go to Contact Us to find out.
